Upon an initiative of Governor Vasily Golubev, at the present moment Rostov Region Minister of Agriculture and Food and Chairman of the plant construction working group Vyacheslav Vasilenko is currently preparing the matter of the “First Donskoy Sugar Plant” construction investment project performance status for examination in the Government of the Rostov Region.
The agenda includes questions of project design works performance, financing and plant provision with necessary infrastructure.
It is worth mentioning that in a telephone conversation between President of the “International Sugar Corporation” Petr Panteleev and Vyacheslav Vasilenko the parties have agreed to sign a public-private partnership agreement at the earliest opportunity in order to allow a timely and successful sugar plant construction project implementation.
This agreement shall specify the parties’ liabilities and obligations on the project. It should be noted that the sugar plant infrastructure provision is expected to be covered by means from the Rostov Region budgetary funds.
This week, January 22, 2014, at the ISC CJSC shareholder meeting by common consent Kirsan Ilyumzhinov – the Republic of Kalmykia first President and actual president of World Chess Federation – was elected new Chairman of Board of Directors of the “International Sugar Corporation”.
